About Helicopter Rebuilds International

Founded in 1997, Helicopter Rebuilds International (HRI) has been serving the helicopter industry for over 20 years and is an Authorized Service Center and Overhaul Facility for Robinson R22 and R44s.

At HRI, all required special tools for Robinson Helicopters are carried in-house, so scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs can be performed in a timely manner. Close proximity to the Robinson Factory by air makes it quick and easy for HRI to obtain parts quickly for AOG aircraft.

Reliable, high quality work and quick turnaround times is the commitment HRI makes to each and every customer. The team is comprised of highly experienced pilots and Authorized Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and adherence to Robinson guidelines for installation, testing and certification is guaranteed. With over 45 years of combined experience, the highly seasoned team at HRI comes with a breadth of Robinson experience, both in the maintenance bay and in the factory.

In 2017, HRI was acquired under the new management of Christopher Cheek, a chief helicopter and jet pilot and entrepreneur. In 2020, a full-time Inspection Authorized (I.A.) Mechanic was added to the team to expand service times to Mon-Fri, or 24/7 if needed. Original HRI owner, Tim Gibler, continues to be an integral part of the crew. Tim’s career began at the Robinson factory working on the final assembly of the R22 and he was also part of the inspection department. Tim’s vast industry focus and knowledge is an ongoing asset to HRI. Located in French Valley airport, HRI is easily accessible, by air or road, with great restaurants and shopping nearby.
